Apprenticeship's
A gymnastics apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing valuable coaching and leadership skills. It helps build confidence, communication, teamwork, and discipline, all while working in a sport you enjoy. Through the apprenticeship, you will learn how to support and train gymnasts safely while earning qualifications at the same time. It can also open doors to future careers in coaching, teaching, fitness, and health industries, making it a rewarding pathway for anyone passionate about gymnastics and helping others succeed.
Paid Training Options
Volunteering Ages 13+
12 months or 40 hours = First Aid & BG Leader FUNDED
24 months or 80 hours = BG Level 1 FUNDED
Training Agreement Ages 14+
GymForce may fund external training within the following conditions;
Employees must stay with the company for 2 years after the training ends.
If employment ends early, employees must repay training costs as follows:
- Less than 6 months after completion of training - 100% repayment
- 7 - 12 months after completion of training - 75% repayment
- 13 - 18 months after completion of training - 50% repayment
- 19 - 23 months after completion of training - 25% repayment
What Does A Coach Do?
- Plan and deliver fun, safe, and engaging gymnastics sessions for different ages and abilities
- Help gymnasts learn new skills and improve at their own pace
- Support confidence, teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment in the sport
- Set up and organise equipment before and during sessions
- Lead warm-ups, skill progressions, and cool-down activities
- Ensure all coaching takes place in a safe and positive environment
- Build strong relationships with gymnasts, parents, and fellow coaches
- Work as part of a supportive coaching team at GymForce
- Develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through real coaching experience
