The Start of the journey...

I started gymnastics when I was three, and I absolutely loved it. Especially floor! I just loved to tumble, that was my thing. As I got older I did more and more hours working my way up to club level. I felt that having gymnastics in my life helped me stay focused and on the right track when some of my friendship group didn’t.

I wasn’t one to do well at school, reading and writing was not for me. I just wanted to be active all the time. So I had decided from a very young age that I would love to go into sports and coaching. I started coaching at 14 as a leader, it was great as I got to save money towards my first car.

Lots of parents kept asking if I would go into club gymnastics instead of just staying at rec level. There was a big demand for me to make the next step for my Club. In 2020 I found the perfect building, right opposite my sister’s unit. A great location and already well-known. With it being so close to a very popular bus route it gives families that can’t drive the opportunity for their children to still do what they love most. I get on great with my sister, i never wanted to move far away. I just wanted to grow my business and she knew that. We are defiantly not 'rivals' thats for sure.

In January 2021 I got the keys for my new big adventure. The place was a mess, it needed so much doing, whole unit rewire, plumbing, plastering, painting, carpets, mezzanie removing, walls knocking down, the lot! All that was before i could start thinking about getting gymnastics equipment. I knew it would be hard work but  I knew I was definitely one for the job. I’ve spent the last 9 months putting money into the biggest risk of my life to get this unit ready. I did have some equipment already but, as you can probably tell, I like to go big which is why i wanted it to look the best it could, with the best equipment providers in the world.
